Seven Oaks Garden Club had our first meeting after our summer break on Wednesday September 2, 2026. Our guest speaker was Cynthia Myers from the San Diego Humane Society who presented on "The Bountiful Benefit of Bats" in our ecosystem and gardens. Ms Myers interesting presentation made one aware of the superstitious myths about bats were in error and the benefits bats contributed  to our ecosystem were positive.
