The decking on the bridge across the storm drain to the East of the Community Center was rotten and needed total replacement.
The main concrete girders were in good condition.
The existing deck and sleepers were removed.
New 4x6" sleepers were attached to the concrete girders using anchor rods drilled and epoxied to the girders.
New 3x12" decking was then lag bolted to the sleepers. The lag bolts were countersunk so as to be flush with the deck.
All wood was pressure treated Douglas Fir, and a sealer coat was applied to the top deck.
The hand rails were sandblasted and then repaired, and then primed and coated with two coats of urethane paint.
