06-01-2023 - Status
  • Crew will meet and finalize plans for the pickle ball courts and work will commence on June 5 8 AM
05-09-2023 - Board Meeting:
  • Review/approved contract items ($75,000 pre-approved) from Ferandell Tennis Courts, Inc.
  • Review/approved additional contract items: fencing @ $23,000 from Capital Improvement fund.
  • Review/approved Concrete demo and construct bio-basin-cost not to exceed $16,000 from reserves.

04-11-2023 - Board Meeting:
  • The 7 Oaks Board of Directors passed a motion to approve of the construction of 2 courts.  A subcommittee has been established to select a contractor and begin the process.

  • Board Motion:  that the Board approves the creation of a sub-committee comprising of the
    President, Sharon Watson, Vice President, Carol LaRusso, Tom Scott and Alan Turner to work with
    the Manager to select a contractor and negotiate and execute the final contract for the site
    clearance, installation of the concrete slab, coating and striping plus nets for two pickleball courts
    – price not to exceed $75,000 to be expensed from the Capital Improvement Fund which includes
    the $10,000 grant from the County.

NOTE: this work does not include fencing, acoustic curtains nor landscaping. These will be the subject of future approvals
by the Board.
