Marilyn Goebel, President I have lived in Seven Oaks since 2000 when I moved here with my father, believing this was a good community
for him. As it turned out, it is a good community for me. What wonderful neighbors
I have found! For 22 years I owned and managed Marilyn Goebel Escrow Company in Mira Mesa and for
several years had 4 offices and 38 employees. I served 2 elected terms and was appointed to complete
the term of a retiring member on the Board of Directors of the Escrow Agent’s Fidelity Corporation, which is responsible
for insuring all independent escrow companies in the State of California against trust fund losses. My
business and problem solving experience will hopefully be an asset to the community. _________________________________________________________________________________
Richard (Dick) Braun, Vice President Dick

(2001-2002). He was also the architectural liaison from 1999-2000. Dick received a BS degree in Business Administration with
a major in accounting from Roosevelt University in Chicago. He worked for a C.P.A. firm and then became president of a construction
development company. He obtained his California real estate broker’s license in 1976. Dick has been an active volunteer
in religious and civic groups. His goal as a board member is to maintain and improve all aspects of the Seven Oaks community
environment. ________________________________________________________________________

for all Seven Oaks residents and to represent them fairly in efforts to maintain the quality of life currently enjoyed in
our community. ______________________________________________________________

Elaine Jeter, Secretary
Elaine served on the staffs of university
and medical school libraries, primarily doing bibliographic work. She has more than 18 years’ experience on boards of
nonprofit public benefit corporations and property owners’ associations and she is familiar with the California non-profit
code. She is proud to have qualified for “master gardener” certification. Elaine believes in working for the benefit
of homeowners within the CC&Rs, by-laws and city and county codes. She feels that boards should not be overly intrusive
and all board actions should be open to the membership as required by California law. When disputes occur, there should be
an avenue available for help in resolving differences. ______________________________________________________________________________________
Sharon Varner, Member at Large I have lived in 7 Oaks since 2004. I recently retired from Kaiser
Permanente where I was a medical assistant. Presently I am a volunteer for the San Diego Police Department at the storefront
in Rancho Bernardo. Some of my past volunteer experience was RSVP, Hospice and Girls Juvenile Hall. I have been
actively involved inthe effort to protect 7 Oaks trees and would like to see more trees planted. I am proud to be a
part of a board who listens to the community they represent. _________________________________________________________________________________
